Unrelated:
If --disable-yasm or --disable-mipsfpu were needed, this would 
be a bug that you should report here (just remove them), I 
wonder if "--disable-asm" is a good idea: Is it really needed?

Why is "--extra-cflags=-mno-altivec" needed?
