[FFmpeg-user] How about multi-pass encoding for H264?

Now I use 2-pass X264 encoding to transcode videos to flv format.


Someone told me that 4-pass will reduce the size of the output file.


Is that true?


I searched much material, but found nothing useful!


How can I use 4-pass encoding.


Does any one know?
