You mean mpeg2video 4:2:0 should have a different name than 
mpeg2video 4:2:2? And h264 4:2;2 a different name than h264 
4:4:4? And alac 16bit a different name than alac 32bit?

No, I don't think that would be a good idea, especially 
since current FFmpeg's output already allows to differentiate.
