This is an intentionally broken version of ffmpeg that 
contains several hundred regressions, many of them security 
relevant, it is therefore unsupported here.

Please test current git head (you do not have to install, 
the binary in the build directory works fine). You have to 
configure with --enable-libschroedinger to encode to dirac 
(the "dirac" encoder is deprecated afaik).

Alternatively, there should be a launchpad version:
