[FFmpeg-user] Playlist input and Mosaic output

I was wondering if its possible to have ffmpeg encode a playlist to produce a single output, either file or udp stream?

would like to use it for building a "barker" channel.

Also ive been trying to get VLC mosaic working and all i have managed to do is get a black screen, so is there any way of using ffmpeg for creating a mosaic screen from live sources?
