Please do not take this personal, but reading the thread 
you pointed out, it seems that Adobe users tend to ask 
questions on the wrong mailing lists:
You cannot get juridic advice here and I was convinced 
that nellymoser in a flat f4v file works fine with FFmpeg 
and unfortunately, nobody reported a bug here (but instead 
in the Adobe forum), so if it really does not work, it is 
unlikely to get fixed
