Huh, what?  I'm sure at the time I wrote that (2010-07-01) the decision
had been made to disable the vorbis encoder due to its appalling quality
and to make people use libvorbis.  Doesn't it now require some
experimental option?

I would like to repeat for clarity that this thread started TWO YEARS
AGO and I'm not sure why it has popped up again.
