I am unfortunately not sure if I understand you (is VITC 
"vertikale Austastlücke"?) but if your problem is that 
FFmpeg ignores a custom resolution set in the mov container
this is a known problem, there should be a ticket (I am 
sure there is one) but I cannot find it atm.
