[FFmpeg-user] Mpeg2 Encoding problem

Hello ,

I  try  to convert a x264 video to mpeg2. I set the bitrate to 6000000
but  the  resulting  video  is  never bigger than 1.6 GB. The video is
around 90 mins, I expect a much bigger mpeg2 than 1.6 GB.

Is  there  a known problem with mpeg2 or a special settings to "force"
the bitrate?
