./configure does not test for libfaac.

Please test ./configure first and if it does not succeed, please try 
to fix it first.

Why doesn't --extra-ldflags work?
Please provide the necessary part of config.log.

Out of curiosity:
Does ./configure && make work with current MPlayer?
