ffmpeg -threads 8 -i input -qscale 2 -ab 256k out.avi
produces a file for you that is out-of-sync?

If yes, please provide complete, uncut console output.

Please do not point to external information, but provide everything here on the
list that is necessary to reproduce the problem.
