[FFmpeg-user] Recording and splitting at the same time

Hi all,

Is there a way to get ffmpeg to record in segments - like for example, 
record for 10 minutes to one file, then move on and record for 10 
minutes to a second file and so on? Or the only way is to use the -t 
switch and to restart ffmpeg after every file?
