[FFmpeg-user] apple prores 422

My workaround for the video part on Windows is to use Avisynth with
the QTSource plugin in combination with MeGUI and x264.

FFmpeg can decode the audio from a ProRes source.

And yes, support for ProRes in FFmpeg would be great!
