[FFmpeg-user] Compiling ffmpeg with libx264

Hi,

I'm trying to compile ffmpeg with the libx264 library (both cloned from 
git today). libx264 installs fine, but when I try to compile ffmpeg I 
get the following error:

/sources/ffmpeg/libavcodec/libx264.c:452: undefined reference to 
`x264_encoder_open_116'

My Google-fu has failed me on this one. Can anyone help?
