[FFmpeg-user] RTMP connection long delay

Hi,

I'm trying to use ffmpeg to get images from a live video stream. I use a 
command like:

ffmpeg -i rtmp://mylocation/myVideo -r 1 img%d.jpg

The problem is ffmpeg waits even minutes after writing the first image. 
How could I avoid this delay?
