[FFmpeg-user] Ot or not ot... FCP gamma issues

FCP has a way to insert a 1.8 gamma instead of 2.2 in the files it 
captures/generates.
I got bitten by this a couple of times.
Does anyone knows of something to counteract this in any way?
I've tried quite a lot of things, but (at least) my HDV ingested material 
still is affected in FFmpeg...
