Hello!
I'm working at implimentation Nellymoser ASAO decoder and
encoder for FLV. So, I have some information that can help
us to do it.
I saw internet and find that Nellymoser does not have
patent on this technology, this patent own to TI and
expired in 2003.
I think that implimentation can be legal.
Nellymoser codec is MIT's Lincoln Labs codec based on
McAulay and Quatieri's sinusoidal transform coding model.
Anybody can find patent and algorithm using by Google or
other Internet search engine. =))))))
I already implimented ASAO 2.0 decoder, but it not
supported for FLV audio stream - it good work with Warner
Brother Media files as2 and asj.
I'm not good in FFMPEG, but i think some math algorithms
can be used from FFMPEG to impliment Nellymoser audio
codec.
So if anybody will work on it too, it can be more quickly
=)))
