Mmh I believe we have no decision taken, all my proposals got refused,
to be honest I'm the first one which don't like them very much (they
were sort of hacks):

Having a sane sane hookup *may* need some reworking on how libswscale
deals with options, yes that would need amongst various things to move
eval/opt code to lavu.

Yes when possible, but please let's get something good enough and
working and simple and committable, then we can think at extending it.
