Just a few comments that have nothing to do with the actual patch, but are none
the less needed for inclusion:
Tabs are forbidden
Trailing whitespace is forbidden (use grep " $" to find)
Try hard to avoid forward declarations: parse_args()
Try to avoid typedef (AssContext)
