To comment further on this,

It seems that ff_imdct_calc() generates output which is inverted
in respect to the one in, for instance, libfaad.

I'm not skilled enough to tell the difference, neither do I want
to lurk around too much in libfaad while working on ffmpeg's
aac decoder.
