[FFmpeg-soc] [RFC] libavfilter AVFilter structure

Hi guys,

I'd like to raise a question concerning AVFilter structure:
Is "author" field in the struct really needed/wanted ?

I find it useless because authors' names should be in the header of the
code source.

Am I the only one thinking that ? I think this should be addressed if
needed before the API goes into svn.

I hope many will express their opinions.
