I understand your viewpoint though I don't necessarily agree with it.

But by reacting *only* to Vittorio trying to defend himself and explicitly (and ineffectively) asking for help from the CC, you look like you are attacking the victim and defending the troll.

Paul does *not* get a free pass to do whatever he wants even if he has been one of the most prolific contributors to this project.
