I doubt anyone is ever going to do that, I certainly won't, but feel free to supply such a patch.

However, I'm having trouble imagining what the result of your suggestion would look like. From this:

-version
    Show version.
-formats
    Show available formats (including devices).
-demuxers
    Show available demuxers.

...to this?

option version
    Show version.
option formats
    Show available formats (including devices).
option demuxers
    Show available demuxers.
