The "plan" is to follow what was agreed a year and a half ago, then
confirmed with a vote last November: Remove an unmaintainted tool that
uses internal libavformat API. This has nothing to do with libavcodec.

I beg all developers to not start a new flamewar like we had last
November. You were able to extend the life of ffserver until a major
bump were to take place. ffserver got virtually no development and was
not fixed/adapted to work like every other fftool for an entire year
since then, and is therefore going to be removed as agreed.

Lets for once show the FOSS world that this project is not run by children.
