[FFmpeg-devel] fps filter anomaly

I am attempting to convert a 0.2fps Slideshow.mov to 25fps using the fps filter.
The problem is the first output frame pauses for 5 seconds.
When viewing the output video I expect the frame counter to increment at a rate of 25fps but it remains on 0 for the first 5 seconds.

[root at ryan tmp]# ffmpeg -threads 0 -y -i Slideshow.MOV -filter_complex "[0:v] fps='fps=25', drawtext='fontfile=calibri.ttf:fontsize=32:text=%{n}:x=20:y=20:fontcolor=white:box=1:boxcolor=0x00000099'" -an -r 25 Slideshow.mp4
