Hi all,

Tomorrow, Wednesday, July 22nd, at 9:00am CEST, the Dispatch working group of the IETF is holding their meeting at IETF93 in Prague. The standardization of FFV1 and Matroska is on the agenda [1] and will be chaired by Tessa Fallon. Also presenting will be Emanuel Lorrain representing the Preforma project [2] and Jerome Martinez of MediaArea.

Participation is encouraged and the IETF provides several ways to participate in the session remotely.

The dispatch chatroom is available here: xmpp:dispatch at jabber.ietf.org?join <xmpp:dispatch at jabber.ietf.org?join>. During the meeting there will be a session scribe who will type a running commentary as to what is going on in the room. During question time, remote participants can type questions into the chatroom and the scribe will pass the question along to the speaker. The dispatch chatroom will be logged here: http://www.ietf.org/jabber/logs/dispatch/ <http://www.ietf.org/jabber/logs/dispatch/>.

Audio of the session will be streamed at http://ietf93streaming.dnsalias.net/ietf/ietf935.m3u <http://ietf93streaming.dnsalias.net/ietf/ietf935.m3u> (as m3u) and http://congresshall3.conf.meetecho.com:8000/congresshall3.opus <http://congresshall3.conf.meetecho.com:8000/congresshall3.opus> (as opus).

Interactive sessions via Meetecho to the session are available at https://congresshall3.conf.meetecho.com/meetecho/login.jsp?ietf=dispatch <https://congresshall3.conf.meetecho.com/meetecho/login.jsp?ietf=dispatch> or http://www.meetecho.com/ietf93/dispatch <http://www.meetecho.com/ietf93/dispatch>.

Meeting minutes: http://tools.ietf.org/wg/dispatch/minutes <http://tools.ietf.org/wg/dispatch/minutes>

The current state of the standardization efforts of Matroska is available in github [3]. Work is initially focusing on the underlying specification of EBML (Extensible Binary Meta Language). Matroska is a document type of EBML. To participate in the current standardization efforts of Matroska and EBML please visit the matroska-devel mailing list [4] or the #matroska IRC channel on freenode.

The FFV1 specification work may also be reviewed at github [5] with recent rendering in HTML [6] and PDF [7] available. To participate in the current standardization efforts of FFV1 please visit the ffmpeg-devel mailing list [8] or the #ffmpeg-devel [8] IRC channel on freenode.
