how can this be used for testing ?
do you have a command line with that video that shows a difference
with the patches ?

i moved this hunk to the 2nd patch and applied first and second
with also module "avcodec/..." prefixes in the commit messages

Its not that you shouldnt use gotos but rather that you should write
readable code and code with gotos often but not always is less readable
