This was discussed earlier: the build system for TESTPROGS does not support
inter-library dependencies, and therefore can only handle test programs that
work on a very small part of the library.

If you have a better idea to make this work, do not hesitate.

The one of the purpose is to be able to build a FATE test on top of this. I
do not think the examples can fit that purpose.
