Thank you for explaining!
I think we should support downstream no matter how stupid 
they are as long as it does not hurt.
After all, downstream is what a library is about imo.

1. Please understand that the thieves tried to prune the 
mailing lists claiming that we (the supporters of 
FFmpeg) use such language.
(It should be added that this tone is of course not 
unusual on the thieves' lists as you know as a 
supporter there.)

2. From your trolling in the last days, you should 
already know that these "hacks" do not exist.

3. Yes, MPlayer is among downstream and while I do 
not remember such a case in years, FFmpeg should 
try to support (also) MPlayer.
