BTW, there are some other memleaks detected in various places by the
valgrind instances since the evil plan got merged (h264, flm, pva, rv40,
sub2video, svq3) and various undefined read in h264 (which according to
Ronald are likely false positives in this case though); is there anyone
working on these issues?

Also, gif seems to have trouble on the OpenBSD boxes; any clue what's
going on?
