What would be the semantic, exactly? Keep the same sample rate at output?
Negotiate the output sample rate independently and obey it? I think I prefer
the KISS solution. But I have no objection to implementing a smart solution
if someone suggests it.

I believe I am the only one. I reused the ones from asrc_sine, I still find
they enhance readability.

Does it matter much? I am pretty sure this will not change the code, as the
initializer is not constant.
