Sorry, I meant pointer subtraction.

Right, at this point, I realize there's not much point in me arguing this; it's
come up 4 or 5 times now, nothing has changed, circle of life, etc. It's like trying
to explain quantum mechanics to a 12 year old. I withdraw my involvement from this
thread and herein shall not reply to any further emails in it. Instead, I'm going
to get a pint of of Guinness.
