I actually proposed to Matthieu to just test the passthrough to check for
crashes, memory issues, etc for now.

When the metadata patchset I sent yesterday is reviewed and approved, we
can consider injecting the info in the buffer ref, and then check them
with another system (indeed with a ffprobe -f lavfi). We will likely add
some tests with silentdetect and related at the same time.
