The list is rather outdated. Basically all known Avisynth plugins work at
this point.
And I wouldn't really call it 'early stages of development'. It was kept
hidden fr a long while. It's already surpassed lavfi in usefulness, and
I am hard-pressed to think of any advantage Avisynth has over it right now.
I've been using it myself for a while, and am slowly writing lua bindings
so I can write a fully embeddable VapourSynth module for libavformat input
(I am currently piping.).
