btw, i used this to generate the blame stats:
git blame -C -C -C -C -w -L '/^$/' file_here | sed 's/.*(\(.*\)[12][09][901][0-9]-.*/\1/g' | sort | uniq -c | sort -n -
the intent of this is to count the authorship while ignoring moves
and whitespace changes and skiping the license header itself
