All I know Reimar is you usually will complain and thats a good thing, but 
you usually end up doing the right thing. If your principles are so much 
that you wish to proagate these warnings, then it is what it is and the 
warnings will continue. There is probably nothing one can do to make MS 
change this and it would probably be just another waste of time.

I was surprised about how few warnings there were actually in the primary 
headers.

I was also surprised about how many warnings there were in the compilation 
of ffmpeg. This I thought was ridicuclous but I think these are gradually 
being addressed.
