You don't need Linux to build FFmpeg you know :)

Someone will need to work on top of this at some point if you don't
want/can't do it; do you plan to finalize it so we can test it?

BTW, GMail is mangling your patch when you inline it manually. I don't
know if there is a setting to change that in the webmail, but in the
current state it's hard to read and comment, and impossible to apply the
patch as-is.
