  I am mildly against this strategy. As you said it is hard/tricky to
get right which is not a good thing in testing IMHO and it might let us
down in a case where the simple approach would alert.

  Additionally all components live in the same address space so maybe
it is not bad if some more ("unrelated") tests get run.
