  I agree. I believe it will become unwieldy to describe all changes
in just a brief way at every release. I even feel this article I just
submitted is already a tad too long.

  This is why I wanted to report more frequently in the news section
next year. Not sure I can live to my expectations but this is what I
had in mind. Seems we have quite opposite opinions here.

  Anyone else wants to comment on the general idea of frequently
posting news about recent FFmpeg developments? Or in particular
about posting the article I just sent?
