yep, i also was confused and first thought my script is broken but
storing the mail and then running git am over it by hand also failed
the same way. And even if i feeded the mail without mutt into git am
it still didnt work.
My suspicion is toward the attachment encoding or something in that
direction but i did not investigate this at all so i might be dead
wrong
