"can't pause playback" issue / no audio buffer can be reproduced for example with this file:

http://samples.multimedia.cx/8svx/errordesc.8svx

clicks can be reproduced with some bigger samples, esp. when the user do something on the computer
while playing the file with ffplay (run some program in the background etc.)

to generate test file to reproduce this please convert some random mp3 song to 8svx with sox:

sox 1.mp3 1.8svx
