Ive applied it and switched it to use libavutils fifo.
Our fifo doesnt need the semaphore and it simplifies the code.
Please review my changes that i did to your code, they are a seperate
commit so should be easy to review.

thanks alot for this patch, this is a feature that was missing and
requested alot.
