I would think 64 kB (i.e. 64*1024) might be a good compromise,
but honestly it doesn't matter that much I think.
And I'd also consider to use this value when the edit unit is
1, if for no other reason that it's done for AVI, but someone
who actually read the MXF spec can give a more useful opinion on that.
