Feel free to change it to something like "obviously a whole lot of
people did not notice", I made the mistake of not reconsidering before
hitting send. Though it is quite possible to speak for other people
without needing psychic powers (e.g. I can't imagine anyone being surprised
having noticed any significant attempts really), but please let's not
start a discussion about a silly but IMO still understandable statement.
