Really sorry for forgetting about this.
My idea would have been to add it to the add_timecode_metadata,
but I had forgotten that this was added relatively recently, so
I'd be fine if you pushed your original patch.
I agree with you that it does clutter the code a bit, both when adding
it like this or when adding it to add_timecode_metadata.
