[FFmpeg-devel] MPEG-2/wtv encoding mismatches

Hello,
the WTV tests seems to indicated that MPEG-2 encoding gives different
results on different machines (e.g. mine, the ppc64 and the Solaris one
all differ).
I checked that the difference is in the video stream at least for PPC64.
Strangely enough the codec regression test passes (and the -qscale 10
there seems to be pointless, the result is the same with and without).
I guess it would be possible that the muxer just corrupts the video
packets, but then decoding should give some errors.
Any ideas from anyone?
