Indeed, although the consequences of the bug would be more severe in V4L
than in DV1394, as in V4L the audio must be read from ALSA in parallel while
in DV1394, unless I am mistaken, the audio arrives multiplexed with the
video.

Anyway, you are right, it looks like a bug. Unfortunately, I do not have any
DV1394 device to work on it.
