The architecture of mplayer and lavfi are quite different, this would
require quite a lot of work in depth, I fear.

In the meantime, I have been working on just a vf_lavfi for mplayer, and I
just submitted the patch. I would appreciate if you gave it a look.

At the very least, if it works well enough, it can be relied upon for some
filters.
