I think I've found another entry for your hall of shame.
DVR-MS converter (http://www.dvr-ms.com/convert-to-mpeg.htm) uses ffmpeg but
does not acknowledge the fact - it provides a trivial GUI wrapper to allow
conversion of Media Center DVR-MS files to MPG
There is a file installed called codec.dll - renaming it to codec.exe and
running it gives the following info:
FFmpeg version SVN-rUNKNOWN, Copyright (c) 2000-2007 Fabrice Bellard, et al.
configuration: --enable-static --enable-memalign-hack --enable-libmp3lame
--enable-xvid --enable-gpl --enable-libfaad --enable-libfaac
--enable-w32threads --enable-liba52
libavutil version: 49.3.0
libavcodec version: 51.38.0
libavformat version: 51.10.0
built on Mar 12 2007 19:22:21, gcc: 3.4.5 (mingw special)
Steve
PS - thanks for all your work on ffmpeg - I still don't understand most of
what it does but have been able to use it for transcoding a few videos.
