Huh? It seems I confused your solution with other ones discussed before.
Which dummy library are you talking about? FFmpeg? The point is that a
functional FFmpeg is needed for unencumbered codecs, and there should
be a way to provide the rest of the functionality by installing
another package, without removing the first one.
